Alkaloid Profile: The Mitragynine Leader
Here is what makes Green Hulu Kapuas genuinely remarkable: at 1.60% mitragynine representing 68.7% of total alkaloids, it has the highest mitragynine-dominance ratio of any strain we carry. In practical terms, this means Green Hulu Kapuas is the most mitragynine-concentrated product in our range. The paynantheine (0.28%) and speciogynine (0.19%) levels are also among the highest in our collection, while speciociliatine is proportionally lower (11.8% of total) than in any other strain.
The slow-growth conditions along the Kapuas River, cooler temperatures, shaded forest, river-fed soil, appear to favour a clean, mitragynine-led profile with less of the alkaloid diversity you see in sun-dried, fermented reds. This is what makes Hulu Kapuas varieties sought after by experienced customers.
