The Kapuas Hulu area in western Borneo is accessible mainly by river, limiting the number of farms that can supply it consistently. When we secure a batch that passes our quality testing, we make it available.
A Balanced, Uncommon Strain
Green Hulu Kapuas uses mid-maturity leaves from slow-growing trees in the shaded interior forests along the Kapuas River. The cooler, wetter growing environment produces a leaf with a moderate alkaloid profile that users describe as gentle and balanced. Among our green strains, Hulu Kapuas tends to appeal to customers who already know their preferences and want to explore something beyond the mainstream Green Malay and Green Borneo.
