Kraatje's Kratom lab-tests

At kraatje we only sell lab-tested kratom from certified Indonesian suppliers and farmers. Below is an overview of our latest test results for our most popular strains.

Our Kratom goes to a through a whole cycle before reaching us. From finding the right suppliers, to supporting the right farmers, processing the product and sterilising, testing and homogenizing it before it gets shipped to the Netherlands. Read on how we source, proces, sterilise our kratom

The lab-results show the percentage of Mitragynine (MIT) found in the batch of Kratom.

Why do red strains have lower Mitagynine than green or white strains?

MIT% are often higher for white and green strains, compared to red strains. This does not mean that red strains are less potent, or weak. Red strains have gone through deeper fermentation, changing the alkaloid profile, reducing the level Mitagynine. Mitagynine, in low doses, can stimulate energy and alertness. Green and white strains, which naturally posses more of Mitagynine, are considered to be more energetic then red strains, due this different alkaloid profile. Red strain posses other alkaloids that have more relaxing or sedating effects. These do not show up on some of our lab-test. Lab-tests for Kratom usually test the MIT%, because it is the most dominant alkaloid out of the bunch. So, be weary with  determining the "strength" of a strain purely on the Mitragynine tests results. Other alkaloids have different effects, and every strain has a different profile. That is why there is no "best" strain. You have to find the one that is right fo you.
