The leaves are harvested from areas where ecological processes remain largely undisturbed.
What Makes Red Borneo Special
Red Borneo kratom is characterised by a rich, complex alkaloid profile that develops through an extended fermentation and drying process. The mature red-veined leaves produce a powder with higher concentrations of naturally occurring alkaloids compared to younger harvests. You may see this kratom sold elsewhere as "Bali Kratom." That name is misleading. There are virtually no kratom plantations on the island of Bali. What most vendors sell as Bali Kratom is simply Red Borneo by another name. At Kraatje, we name our products honestly — by region of origin and vein colour.
